The Tarheel Junior Gof Tour has opened entries for the 2010 spring season. The Tour has 800 members from 21 states and four countires. Many players are ranked among the top players in their states and home countries.
Courses include TPC Wakefield Plantation the home of the Nationwide Tour Rex Hopsital Open, Campbell University's Keith Hills Courses that have hosted multiple USGA and Intercollegiate events, Carolina Trace Country Club which has hosted PGA Tour and USGA events, Finley Golf Club at the University of North Carolina which is ranked number seven among college courses in the country and is home to the Tarheel Golf Teams, Duke University's 5th ranked collegiate golf course that hosts intercollegiate and USGA events, and the Lonnie Poole Golf Course at North Carolina State University, Arnold Palmer's newest signature golf course that host the Wolfpack Intercollegiate.
The Tarheel Junior Golf Tour is among the most affordable elite tours in the southeast. There are no membership fees and tournamant entry fees aveage $125. Events are nationally ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard. High School Division players may earn AJGA exemptions at two spring events as well as for winning race for low scoring average. Over 20 members from the 2010 graduating class have committed to play major college golf.
