WASHINGTON -- Black Hall Club Maintenance Barn has been selected for the 2009 Best of Old Lyme Award in the Clubs category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).

Golf Structure Alternatives (GSA), a New Hampshire based company which custom designs buildings for golf courses announced that the Turf Care Center, designed by GSA, at the Black Hall Club in Old Lyme, CT was the recipient of The Best of Old Lyme Award from the U.S. Commerce Association. Golf Structure Alternatives was hired by Black Hall in 2004 to begin the process of planning a new Turf Care Center. GSA evaluated several Turf Care Center sites before developing a Master Plan and eventually Final Design Drawings. The building was constructed by Commercial Construction Group out of Old Lyme, CT. The project was completed in April of 2009.
