Upcoming Southeast Junior prepares for play at Duke University

The Southeast Junior, presented by the Tarheel Golf Foundation, on November 21-22, 2009 has attracted entrants from eastern and midwestern states.

The field includes some of the top ranked juniors in the United States. Players with impressive resumes will compete over the Duke University Golf Course for the Southeast Junior Title. Duke University is located in Durham, NC in the Research Triangle area.

The Duke Golf Course is one of the highest ranked collegiate golf courses in the country and is home to the mens and womens Duke Blue Devils golf teams. The facility includes a hotel and conference center, short game practice areas and driving range as well as its famous Robert Trent Jones golf course.

The event is open to men and women juniors that have not yet completed high school. The event is nationally ranked and entries close November 12. Entry information is available at www.tarheelgolf.org.
