What are the next steps to take in growing the game of golf? At this year's EGCOA conference, the best initiatives with the greatest potential for growing the game will be presented and ideas will be shared. Main goal of the EGCOA is to spread the experiences amongst attending owners and operators, so they can further increase the number of people that play golf at their courses.

Important questions asked in this session will be how to attract more golfers to your course using new online marketing tools? Can you develop sustainable solutions that will increase your revenue? Long-term club members or short-terms customers - who should you focus on profiting from? What are the benefits of golf being included in the Olympics?

The answers to all these questions will shape the 'The Next Step' in growing the game. All the presented initiatives will try to examine and outline the winner of 'The EGCOA Growing the Game Award' in growing the game award.

Together with other speakers and participants at the European Golf Course Owners Association-organised conference, they will define The Next Step; From Change To Opportunity - the theme of the conference.

Other subjects under discussion will include how golf course owners can take advantage of changes; how they can generate more revenue by using e-marketing and yield management; and solutions to problems golf operators face on a daily basis.
