Danny Gleeson continued his exemplary play by winning his second consecutive Tarheel Golf Foundation sponsored event, the Fall Junior Classic at the new Nicklaus designed Club at 12 Oaks in Holly Springs, NC.

Confronting unseasonable cold and wet conditions where temperatures hovered inthe low 40's Gleeson managed to post a three under par 69 on day two to win the event with a one over total of 145 to win by 5 strokes over Ben Griffin of Chapel HIll.

Last month Glesson also posted a 69 over the Tom Fazio-designed AE Finley Golf Course at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to win the Tarheel State Junior by 10 strokes.

Two great showings over two outstanding golf courses. His performance at 12 Oaks, one of the most difficult golf courses in North Carolina, was impressive since he did not see the course until the first round of the tournament. Despite cold and wet weather the 12 Oaks golf course was inimpeccable condition.
