The Kodak Challenge hole #11 played tough all week for the pros at the Turning Stone Championship, ranking as the second most difficult hole at Atunyote Golf Club. While leader Kevin Streelman struggled on the Kodak Challenge hole, Jason Gore and Nathan Green each moved to within one stroke of the lead with birdies this weekend. Gore's move into second this week continued his remarkable Kodak Challenge run this season. Despite missing the cut in 11 of 22 tournaments, Gore has made the most of his limited Kodak Challenge opportunities this season. (A player's best score during play is recorded - missing the cut does not eliminate a golfer).
Other Kodak Challengers to move up the leaderboard at the Turning Stone Championship were Brendon de Jonge and Bo Van Pelt, who each birdied the Kodak Challenge hole to move to 11-under par and just two shots behind Streelman. Vaughn Taylor, who is currently locked in a sudden death playoff for the Turning Stone Championship with Matt Kuchar, also birdied #11 to move to 9-under-par.
The next Kodak Challenge hole is the par 5 560 yard #16 at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open on October 15-18.

About Hole #11 at the Turning Stone Resort Championship
The Kodak Challenge hole #11 at Atunyote Golf Club is the longest par 3 on the course and is protected by a stream on the right and a greenside bunker. The third hardest hole on the course in 2008, this 230-yard hole didn't see any eagles and only 25 birdies last year. Pros must favor the left side of the green as it slopes from left to right toward the water.
