Gaim Golf's G360 Putter enjoys exceptional spring sales season

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Gaim Golf reports that its G360 putter has had an exceptional spring sales season with sales increasing dramatically over last year. No place is this more evident than in The Villages golf retirement community in Florida. Chris Plummer, Custom Club Shop Manager and Head Club Fitter at The Villages states that “from the moment we started to stock them in our pro shops the feedback and sales have been tremendous, it seems as if I have to reorder every other week.”

“Twenty golf courses are found within The Villages communities and eight of those are championship courses, so they take their golf very seriously there,” according to Gary Patterson, co-owner of Gaim Golf. “The G360 is a natural for the serious senior golfer because it is engineered to get their ball in and out of the hole”, added Patterson.

Plummer agrees, “At our last demo day, I had many customers come up to me saying they couldn’t believe how many putts they were making with the Gaim putter. I truly believe it’s one of the best and easiest alignment systems on the market, and being that our consumer base is pretty much all senior golfers they love the fact that they can pick the ball up with it and save their back!”

Although sales have been brisk all spring, Gaim has noticed an increase in sales that they attribute to Father’s Day and graduation. Phone-in orders have ramped up recently as have web site sales, according to Patterson, with most of the sales references claiming “word-of-mouth advertising” stemming from grass roots sales channels. “We have noticed increased sales from our retailers, like The Villages, due to the G360 being such a natural gift idea. Mother’s Day was big and now Father’s Day looks to also be a big season for Gaim. “Some golfers like the fact that it makes them a better putter while others enjoy the way it picks up the ball. Either way, it has proven to be a very nice gift for golfers of any age,” said Patterson.

About Gaim Golf
Formed in 2003, Gaim Golf manufactures and sells the innovative G360 putter. The G360 was the #1 Ranked Putter overall by GolfTest USA in 2005 and was awarded the Baggy Award by Golf Illustrated for “The Best Kept Secret”. Owned by Gary Patterson, Vince Henry and John Macht in Knoxville, TN, the Gaim G360 putter is known as the putter that picks the ball up out of the cup.

Made in the U.S.A. the G360 putter is manufactured from a proprietary “soft” tungsten composite material. The softness of this configuration creates “pure energy transfer” upon striking a golf ball, meaning no inserts are required in order to create such a soft feel. According to the inventor, Vince Henry, putters utilizing inserts often provide erratic feedback to the golfer both audibly and through touch. This is caused by the dissimilar materials the energy must be transferred through in order to provide the feedback.

The G360 is endorsed by Mark McCumber, 10-time winner on the PGA Tour and Ryder Cup Member. In addition, LPGA winner Jackie Gallagher-Smith and TPC Sawgrass Director of Instruction, Cindy Reid play and endorse the G360. A major reason they play the G360 is due to the patented alignment markings which Dr. Craig Farnsworth, The Putt Doctor and putting instructor to many Tour pros, calls “ingenious”.
