Bobby Jones Golf joins forces with the Golf Smarter Podcast to present the President's Cup Podcast Party at Peacock Gap Country Club in Marin County (San Rafael), California, Monday, October 12, 2009. Golfers who've watched the pros all weekend compete in the President's Cup at Harding Park Golf Course will have the opportunity to play 18 holes with legendary club designer Jesse Ortiz or Peacock Gap's Head Teaching Professional Adam Eisner. Players can also enjoy a full BBQ dinner, win prizes, and participate in a live recording session of the 200th episode of the #1 golf podcast, GOLF SMARTER, with host Fred Greene.
The event commences at 10am with a Bobby Jones Golf demo day featuring Ortiz' full line of drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and Dave Pelz wedges. Whether golfers are able to play 18 holes or not, they will be able to test these clubs at the all grass Peacock Gap driving range, at no charge. Tee times begin at 11am and after golf, there will be a BBQ and cash bar, open to the public. Everyone is also invited ask questions of club maker Jesse Ortiz as GOLF SMARTER PODCAST host Fred Greene interviews Ortiz in a live recording session. The Golf Smarter Podcast recording session begins at 5:30pm.
