Sports camps have recently become a popular alternative to more traditional holiday camps for students. For many years the only place in Thailand offering parents a comprehensive and intensive golf or tennis camp was Bangkok. Since opening in 2008, The Prem Golf and Tennis Academies have offered the only camps in Northern Thailand designed and dedicated to golf and tennis instruction - one place for young athletes to refine their game. Getting away from the city is all part of what camp life is all about!
Direct flights
With direct flights to Chiang Mai from Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore the Prem intensive sport camps are accessible to all students from the Asian-Pacific region.
Day Visitors or Fully Residential
The camps are open to day students from the local Chiang Mai area and offer great value. Students from other areas can also enjoy the camps by living on the natural 95-acre campus of the Prem Tinsulanonda International School (PTIS). The residential training package offers 24-hour adult supervision, share-room accommodation, all meals, sport instruction and airport transfers. With either package children will be trained by internationally-experienced and professional staff: American golf professional, Mike "Spike" Collier, and American tennis coach, Randall Scott.
For larger groups of junior athletes, the academies and Prem's Camps program have designed custom Junior Camps which can be arranged to fit schools' or groups' needs and timetables.
Residential, Super Plus, and Sport and English camps
Our camps offer an exciting all-inclusive option for visitors to Northern Thailand. Young players will experience the full enjoyment of camp when they can take off from working on their game to relax and have fun in a variety of other non-golf or non-tennis activities: swimming, archery, trekking, jungle cooking, bikes rides, learning English, visits to many of Chiang Mai's cultural attractions and so much more!
Meeting new friends and learning the game of golf or tennis, with the emphasis on fun and personalized attention is what our camps are all about!

The Prem Golf and Tennis Camps
The Prem Golf and Tennis Academies are conveniently located just 25 kilometers north of Chiang Mai, Thailand. The ideal environment and training facilities are equipped with an indoor video swing analysis room, classrooms for theory instruction, an 825 square metre putting/chipping green, covered chipping and hitting nets, a short range practice green with six hitting bays, long and short range bunkers, a 350-yard driving range, a well-equipped fitness room, golf and tennis equipment, six hard tennis courts, two knock board courts, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a 24-hour nursing station, and 24-hour security.
Scheduled camps
For the convenience of all families in the Asian-Pacific region, the 2009-2010 golf and tennis camps will be held during International School holidays in Thailand.
2009 Camps 5 - 9 October, 16 20 November
2010 Camps 18 - 22 January, 15 - 20 February, 31 May - 4 June
The junior golf and tennis camps are for boys and girls aged from nine to eighteen and of all ability levels.
