Golfsmith has become a sponsor of the Tarheel Golf Foundation's Junior Tour. The large specialty retailer has become the latest of a growing number of sponsors of the Tarheel Junior Golf Tour. Golfsmith will provide gift cards to event participants, host special in-store promotional activities, provide junior tour member only discounts and participate on-site at certain Central North Carolina events.

"We are pleased to have Golfsmith join our list of supporters", said Tour Director Eric Murray. "Their participation will benefit our junior members and enhance members' enjoyment of the game. Golfsmith is already helping players purchase push carts for use a certain events by proving discounts both online and at their 60,000 square foot superstore in Raleigh."

The Tarheel Junior Tour provides nationally ranked junior golf tournaments at some of the nations best golf courses. Events are held at leading university golf courses, private clubs and top ranked resort courses. Players may earn AJGA exemptions, national rankings and invitations to regional and national events.
