Jim Nugent, a member of the American Junior Golf Association Board of Directors since 1997, has been named Vice President of the Board. As a 501(3)(3) nonprofit ogranization, the AJGA relies on its Board of Directors for council and guidance as it seeks to fulfill its mission of serving young golfers.

Nugent, the publisher of PGA TOUR Partners magazine, received his MBA at Northwestern University in 1990 and did his undergraduate studies at Georgetown University. He spent 16 years with Golfweek magazine before moving to his current position at PGA TOUR Partners magazine in 2007.
