American Express announces benefits at 91st PGA Championship

As an official Patron of the PGA of America, American Express is providing onsite programs and premium benefits for Cardmembers designed to enhance the spectator experience at the 91st PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club.

While the PGA Learning Center is open to all, only American Express® Cardmembers, including new Delta SkyMiles Credit Cardmembers, have the exclusive opportunity to enjoy the Cardmember Club and Championship Vision TVs. Onsite during championship play on August 13-16, American Express is providing Championship Vision TVs and Championship CourseCast Radios to enhance the viewing experience, bringing golf fans even closer to the game they love.

The American Express Cardmember Club, located behind the 12th green, features food, complimentary beverages, live television coverage of the championship and a concierge. Cardmembers visiting this exclusive lounge area will have an opportunity to win certificates for 25,000 miles--enough to cover a roundtrip domestic ticket--courtesy of the Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express.

Hand-held Championship Vision TVs deliver a live telecast of the championship and player information from anywhere on the course and are complimentary for Cardmembers to borrow daily during championship play. Cardmembers can also enjoy complimentary Championship CourseCast Radios to listen to the play-by-play commentary and live updates on Sirius XM, while they watch the excitement from the grounds.

Located near the main spectator entrance and open to all attendees, American Express has created a version of the PGA Learning Center, which is one of the largest and most advanced practice facilities in the world. This onsite interactive facility provides an opportunity for fans to get involved in the action and features four hitting bays, a golf simulator with a daily "closest to the hole" contest, chipping green and putting green.

PGA Professionals are on hand to offer visitors personalized 10-minute lessons by appointment in the hitting bays, as well as daily group clinics focusing on different skills and techniques. Two hitting bays are available exclusively for Cardmembers to experience GolfTEC technology, which uses cameras to capture swing and advanced motion technology to analyze form; personalized 10-minute golf lessons are being offered by appointment with PGA Professionals utilizing this dynamic technology. Cardmembers are able to review their lesson, swing video and expert analysis online at www.americanexpress.com/golf after the championship.

The Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express is a fast way to earn and redeem miles for Award Travel on Delta Air Lines. Visitors at the PGA Learning Center have the opportunity to win certificates for 25,000 miles--enough to cover a roundtrip domestic ticket--by testing their skill to get "closest to the hole."
