Connect Infinity launches new iPhone applications for golfers

NEW YORK -- Golfers who have an iPhone are about to become better putters thanks to the smart new Putt Reader app developed by Connect Infinity. Putt Reader is a technologically advanced putting tool designed to help a golfer read the breaks on greens, sink more putts and ultimately lower scores. Unlike other iPhone apps that only show the direction a green slopes, Putt Reader actually calculates the arc of your putt with a groundbreaking scientific algorithm.

The Putt Reader is available now at the iPhone App Store for a special launch price of $1.99. The Putt Reader is easy to use and is a great training aid, especially for golfers keen to learn their home greens better. You simply place your iPhone on the green, set the distance to the hole, then set the distance to the break and let the application work its magic. The Putt Reader will calculate the break or curve of the green, ultimately allowing you to line up your putt perfectly. The Putt Reader also provides useful caddie tips, such as how many balls outside the hole you should aim, if you should hit the ball firmer for an uphill putt, and much more.

Connect Infinity's iPhone Putt Reader software is groundbreaking in the golf industry. "There is nothing available like the Putt Reader," states Jamie Magid, Connect Infinity co-founder. "It is a great golf putting aid that reads greens effectively and helps you learn to become a much better putter." Putt Reader, however, is not allowed during tournaments or in competitions.

The Course Club Scorecard on iPhone also was introduced at no charge from the App Store. This convenient app takes the bother of repeatedly removing a paper card and dull pencil out of your pocket while simply and efficiently keeping your score at your fingertips. Thousands of golf course scorecards from around the world are available on the handy Course Club Scorecard.

Connect Infinity created The Course Club, one of the earliest (if not the first) social networks for golfers. The membership club styles itself as "a private online golf community for real golfers around the world." The Course Club allows users to socialize with other golfers, network and form relationships and gain playing privileges at clubs otherwise hard to access. By joining The Course Club, a golfer will receive enhanced Scorecard iPhone benefits, such as the ability to save multiple scores from home and away courses in their private profile database and to track their game hole by hole with informative online statistics.

"We have taken the traditional scorecard and transformed it into new, golfer-friendly technology," says Magid. "There are other scorecard applications but they contain far less information. The Course Club has the most complete database with an astonishing 18,000 golf club scorecards available from around the world. You won't find anything equal to The Course Club Scorecard on iPhone."
