Bo Van Pelt's dramatic playoff win on Kodak Challenge hole #18 at Brown Deer Park Golf Course capped four days of exciting Kodak Challenge action at the U.S. Bank Championship. Hole #18 gave the pros plenty of chances to move up the Kodak Challenge leaderboard. Kevin Streelman took advantage of favorable playing conditions to increase his lead to 11-under par, while Nicholas Thompson, Jason Gore and Michael Letzig all carded birdies to move within two strokes of Streelman.
Despite being one of four holes to play under par for the entire tournament, hole #18 yielded only two eagles on Sunday; one of which was carded by Johnson Wagner, who moved to within four strokes of the lead with his final round deuce. Streelman, rookie Kyle Stanley and Kodak Challenge contender, Brett Quigley each birdied #18 three of the four days. Van Pelt's Sunday birdie on #18 allowed the U.S. Bank champion to move into a tie for third in the Kodak Challenge at 8-under par. The Kodak Challenge continues on July 16 at the RBC Canadian Open at Glenn Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

About the Kodak Challenge Hole # 18
The par 5 #18 at Brown Deer Park Golf Course is a pivotal hole in the U.S. Bank Championship, as it rewards daring pros with birdie and eagle opportunities. A good drive over the creek on this 557-yard hole allows players to go for the green in two strokes; otherwise, the pros must lay up. Five bunkers in the front of the green are unforgiving to golfers who come up short. In 1997, Scott Hoch made an eagle on #18 to win the U.S. Bank Championship. Only seven eagles were made on this hole during the 2008 tournament.
