SK Fiber delivers European Long Drive Match Play Championship

MADISON, Ala. -- Open Division winner Kari Matti Mikael Hyökki captured the 2009 European Long Drive Match Play Championship held in Orresta Gk in Enköping, Sweden using the # 1 long drive shaft on the Long drivers of Sweden tour, the SK Fiber Javelin shaft and Alpha C830 head. Weather conditions were not favorable for the contestants, a strong headwind and rain kept the driving distances down. The long drive of the competition was 299m (327 yards) set by Hyökki in the semifinalsas. He went on to defeat Niklas Fredriksson with a 297M (325 yards) for the championship. This was kari's third win in 2009.
