The Tarheel Junior Golf Tour will return from it holiday break to open 2010 at Tournament Players' Club at Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh, NC. The TPC Wakefield Plantation is a Hale Irwin designed golf course that hosts the annual Rex Hospital Open on the Nationwide Tour. The event is scheduled for January 9-10, 2010 and will be a nationally ranked Tarheel Junior Golf Tour event.

About the Tarheel Junior Golf Tour
The Tarheel Junior Golf Tour is operated by the Tarheel Golf Foundation to provide nationally-ranked junior golf tournaments for boys and girls that aspire to play collegiate golf. Events are located in central North Carolina and are open to players from anywhere in the world. The tour has over 500 members from across the USA, Europe, Asia and South Africa. Tournaments are scheduled from September-May and are contested over some of the best golf courses in North Carolina.
