The Tarheel Golf Foundation has announced that Nike is the official ball of the 2009-2010 Tarheel Junior Tour. "We are delighted to recognize Nike's support of junior golf in North Carolina by naming them the official ball of the tour", said Eric Murray, Tour Director. "We are very fortunate to have their support."

Nike golf equipment is played on tour by leading players such as Tiger Woods, David Duval, Anthony Kim, Amanda Blumenherst, Michele Wie and 2009 US Open Champion Lucas Glover.

The Tarheel Junior Golf Tour is a leading provider of nationally-ranked golf tournaments for boys and girls. Its 500 members include some of the top junior golfers in the country. The tour plays 36-hole golf tournaments on weekends between September and May on leading central North Carolina golf courses. With over 500 members, it is one of the largest junior golf tours in North America.
