TGAA Tour and Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday form strategic alliance

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Building on its success as the premier Pro-Net Tour in the Mid-Atlantic, the Tournament Golf Association of America (TGAA) is proud to announce its partnership with Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday (MBGH).

Terms of the deal include MBGH providing two (2) entries to the '09 PGA Tour Superstore World Am (for TGAA Tour members) and one (1) entry to the '10 World Am (to be auctioned at the TGAA Tour's Ercole Comini Charity Golf Event). MBGH will receive prominent advertising on the TGAA Tour Partners Page and the tour's Weekly Update newsletter. In addition, MBGH will also receive logo and banner advertising on the TGAA Tour/eGolfScore Real-Time Scoring system (handhelds, clubhouse leader boards and unique tournament website) through the remainder of 2009.

"We are delighted to have the right partner to help us more firmly position the TGAA Tour as the premier Pro-Net Tour in the nation," said Dennis Baca, President and CEO, TGAA. "Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday is a leader in the golf tourism industry and is the number one source for planning any visit to the Myrtle Beach area. With them as a partner, this only strengthens the TGAA Tour as the premiere Pro-Net tour in the Mid-Atlantic. We look forward to building a long and mutually beneficial partnership."

"Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday's tournament division has always embraced the opportunity to partner with regional tours throughout the nation," Dave Macpherson, the PGA TOUR Superstore World Amateur Handicap Championship's tournament director, said. "There is a lot of opportunity for growth with the TGAA Tour and we are looking forward to introducing their players to the World Amateur."

"This is truly an exciting and worthwhile venture for the TGAA Tour," said Steven Moses, the tour's Chief Operating Officer. "We are certainly honored to partner with the leader of Myrtle Beach golf and tourism. Our season-opening Tournament of Champions event is held in the Myrtle Beach area and we have several members who routinely make both golf and family vacations to the area…including the PGA Tour Superstore World Amateur Handicap Championship. Our partners realize the added advertising benefits of the TGAA Tour/eGolfScore real time scoring system. The TGAA Tour looks forward to building a win-win partnership with Dave and those at Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday for now and the long term".
