Tarheel Junior Tour Members Allison Emrey and Grayson Murray are the 2009 North & South Junior Champions.

Allison of Charlotte outplayed a field of 36 girls for her title. Shooting a total of 4-under par total of 214. She finished two strokes ahead Tarheel Junior Tour member Katherine Perry of Cary, NC and Collins Bradshaw of Columbia, SC. Twenty-five percent of the girl's field was composed of Tarheel Junior Tour members.

Grayson Murray needed nine playoff holes to win his Boys' title after finishing in a tie for first place with a 2-under par total of 213,with Matt Ball Jr of Richmond, VA. Another Tarheel Junior Golf Tour player, Andy Knox of Cary, NC finished tied for sixth.

The Tarheel Junior Golf Tour is a professionally operated junior golf organization that provides exceptional nationally-ranked competitive tournament opportunities for boys & girls. The tour is operated by the Tarheel Golf Foundation and holds 36-hole events on weekends in North Carolina from September-May. The tour has over 500 members and is open to boys and girls. Members include players from across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Asia and South Africa.
