Kodak Challenge at Travelers Championship changes leaderboard

The Kodak Challenge hole #15 at TPC River Highlands continued to provide excitement on the final day of the Travelers Championship. While Kodak Challenge leader Chris DiMarco played #15 at even par throughout the tournament, a host of pros took full advantage of the tournament's easiest hole move up the Kodak Challenge leaderboard. Over 175 birdies were carded over the four days on the drivable par-4. As easy as the hole was playing (the average score was under par), #15 yielded few eagles and 41 balls were hit into the water. Steve Lowery relinquished sole possession of second place to 12 fellow Kodak Challengers. Kevin Streelman and Michael Letzig both moved into second on Sunday with birdies on #15. Paul Goydos and David Toms, who tied for second in Travelers Championship, both played the Kodak Challenge hole well - Goydos carded the only eagle on Sunday, while Toms birdied the hole all four days. Travelers Championship winner, Kenny Perry also birdied the Kodak Challenge hole on Sunday. The Kodak Challenge travels next week to hole #18 at AT&T National at Congressional Country Club on July 2.

About the Kodak Challenge Hole: #15
The shortest par 4 on the PGA TOUR at 296 yards, #15 at TPC River Highlands is a classic risk/reward hole featuring a large pond that comes into play short and left of the green. In windy conditions, the pros often hit an iron off the tee, leaving a full wedge to the green. A layup off the tee leaves a wedge into a small, multi-leveled green with narrow shelves in the corners, making getting a chip shot or even a long putt very tenuous on this 296-yard hole.
