Callaway Gardens announces its annual Summer Family Adventure

Callaway Gardens is welcoming families back to its annual Summer Family Adventure - a fun-filled and affordable vacation that lets families kick back and enjoy a host of entertaining activities and exciting adventures, or just relaxing while the children are entertained.

Summer Family Adventure captivates people of all ages and interests with expert-led activities the whole family will love. Whether you want to indulge in a particular passion, such as fly fishing, tennis or golf, try your hand at something new such as water skiing or circus activities, or participate in an educational workshop to learn about watercolor painting, gardening or horticulture, Callaway Gardens' Summer Family Adventure is a vacation like no other.

From May 30 to Aug. 1, Callaway Gardens is offering the chance to experience a summer of lifelong memories for every member of the family, packaged in a seven-day adventure. Summer Family Adventure is ideal for families with diverse interests, multi-generational or anyone who loves the outdoors!

Seven-day packages include:

• Private two-bedroom Cottage with a family living and dining area, kitchen, fireplace and screened-in porch
• Day Camp for children and teens ages 3 to 18 each week day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Children's activities including arts and crafts, swimming, miniature golf, circus activities and outdoor adventures
• Teen activities including beach and water volleyball, a challenging ropes course, water skiing, tennis, a teen center, game room, teen dance, golf clinics and canoe trips
• Parents and adults can enjoy rounds of golf on Callaway Gardens' award-winning golf courses or a day of pampering at the first-class Spa Prunifolia. Adults also can enjoy exercise classes, tennis, fishing and even circus tricks
• Guests of all ages can participate in educational workshops and classes to learn more about photography, painting, drawing, gardening and nature
• During the evenings families can enjoy spending time together with bingo, beach activities, marshmallow roasts, miniature golf, bike rides, star gazing and more

The Summer Family Adventure program offers a variety of programs and activities that let families customize their ideal vacation and gives each family member an active, enjoyable summer getaway that's tailored to their own interests.

Guests of Summer Family Adventure also can enjoy behind-the-scenes tours of Callaway Gardens, hiking on trails, bicycling or gardening workshops. Golf lessons are offered on Callaway Gardens' world famous golf course or guests can take circus and acrobatic classes from Florida State University's "Flying High" Circus, which resides at Callaway Gardens each summer.
