Willie Love will be the new Head Golf Professional at Woodland Valley, the Myrtle Beach, S.C. Signature Golf Group managed facility has announced.

Willie Love came to Myrtle Beach Air Force Base from Alaska in 1971. He was one of four children of a military family. In 1973 his family moved to Conway, SC where Willie was a member of his high school golf and wrestling teams. In high school and while attending Coastal Carolina University he worked in the restaurant business gaining years of valuable customer service experience. In 1989 Willie was introduced to the Golf Business at Joe Inman Golf Clinic in North Myrtle Beach giving instruction and selling golf learning systems. Willie apprenticed at DeBordieu Colony Club, the Legends, Beachwood Golf Club and the Country Club of South Carolina before being elected to PGA Membership in 1998. Willie was last employed at Wedgefield Plantation before accepting the assistant professional position at Woodland Valley in February, 2008.
