Sligo Wear apparel worrn by St. Jude Classic winner Brian Gay

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. -- Proving the adage that you play well when look good, Sligo Wear staff player Brian Gay recorded his second PGA Tour victory of the season, and third of his career - at the St. Jude Classic this past weekend. Handsomely attired in Sligo Wear's fashion-forward shirts and pants, Gay carded a final-round four-under-par 66 to win in Memphis with a 72-hole score of 262, five shots ahead of David Toms and Bryce Molder.

The victory increased Gay's earnings to more than $2.7 million this year, moved him into fourth place in the FedEx Cup standings (1,468 points) and earned him a spot in this week's U.S. Open at Bethpage Black where he will once again wear Sligo's assortment of colors and designs.

"Brian's victory earlier this year at the Verizon really helped set the stage for his season as well as for Sligo's success this year,'' said Sligo Wear Director of Sales Shawn Aucoin. "We couldn't be happier for Brian. He's a first-class guy in addition to being one of the world's top players.

Gay's victory at the St. Jude also was the third of the 2009 second of the season for Sligo Wear. Bubba Dickerson won the Louisiana Open sporting Sligo Wear this past March.
