WINTER GARDEN, Fla. -- On July 16 and 17, 2006 the Orlando Jaycees will host the 59th Annual Pee Wee Golf Tournament at Orange County National Golf Center in Winter Garden, FL. Since its inception in 1946, the Orlando Jaycees’ Pee Wee Golf Tournament has continued to provide junior golfers with the opportunity to balance the fun of playing with friendly competition. It is now the longest continuously running children’s golf tournament in the United States.
This year’s field will range from ages 3 through 17, with one and two day awards for those placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their age division. The event will be held on Orange County National Golf Center’s championship ‘Q-School’ and par 3 layouts. Lunch and trophies will be included in the entry fee for both days.
All proceeds benefit the Orlando Jaycees Annual Holiday Shopping Tour, which allows Jaycees members to shop with local underprivileged children for school supplies and clothes.
For 80 years the Orlando Jaycees have supported the Orlando community. We consider it a privilege to continue this event and encourage any child from beginner to varsity high school player to compete. For more information, or to register please call 407-284-0129 or visit www.orlandojaycees.org/peewee. We are limiting our field to 100 players!
