PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- The PGA Golf Club of Port St. Lucie, Fla., is returning its annual "Home to the Pros, Free to America's Youth" summer golf program for kids. As is tradition, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, young golfers 18-and-under can enjoy complimentary rounds of golf at the PGA Golf Club, when accompanied by a paying adult on Mondays-Thursdays after 11 a.m.; and on Fridays-Sundays and holidays after 2 p.m.
The popular program at the PGA Golf Club - ranked by Golf World as one of the Top 30 public golf courses in the United States - also offers juniors an opportunity to play from "Family Tees," which are designed to enhance the entire family's golf experience. In addition, the PGA Golf Club's complimentary six-hole Short Course features holes 25-to-50 yards long, which makes for a great setting for beginners and young children to learn the game; gives juniors with a limited amount of time available the ability to play golf; and offers advanced players a means to focus on their short games. So, whether young golfers tee it up on the Short Course, the Tom Fazio-designed Wanamaker and Ryder Courses or the Pete Dye-designed namesake Dye Course -- junior players can enjoy a great day at the PGA Golf Club, as they develop strong character traits in a positive environment.
