The European Golf Course Owners Association was founded in 2004 by 4 countries. Currently, the EGCOA has close to 600 members in 24 European Countries.

The Association focuses on three main goals:

1. Grow the game of golf
Growth of the game is in the interest of the whole golf industry. Through best practices and special programmes, the EGCOA helps to provide opportunities for more to people to take up the game.

2. Professional business standards

3. Look after the interest of golf course owners
