WASHINGTON, DC. -- Tournament Golf Association of America (TGAA) announced it has reached an agreement with eGolfScore to provide real time scoring for the remainder of the TGAA Tour 2009 season in the Mid-Atlantic region. Terms of the agreement are not being disclosed.

Combine eGolfScore's traditional eSP offering with highly-targeted promotional opportunities and the tour's sponsors and advertisers benefit from the industry's most unique, highly-differentiated eGolfScore Media Delivery System (eMDS). TGAA will continue to provide tournament management services to corporate, celebrity and charity golf outings but will now offer the added feature of eGolfScore's real time scoring and eMDS.

During the remainder of 2009, TGAA will continue servicing the Mid-Atlantic market with a full tournament schedule while offering the added features provided by eGolfScore.

During the round, players were able to see exactly where they stood in relation the rest of the field. As players completed their rounds, they were able to view both the results of those that had finished, as well as those still out on the course, as the leader boards in the clubhouse displayed the real-time results. What was most amazing was that those players who were not able to attend the event, friends of the TGAA tour and family and friends of the players were able to view the event online and watch their favorite player throughout their round. As the competitors watched the real-time results, many received phone calls from family and friends expressing their congratulations or offering sympathies".
