Evolve golf tees used by top-fiver at Arnold Palmer Invitational

Tiger Woods won the US PGA Tour event, coming from five shots behind in the final round to pick up a one-stroke win.

Now Evolve has revealed that an unnamed golfer who finished four shots or less behind Woods, was pinging balls off the high-technology tee.

Evolve Golf founder and chief executive, BJ Maloy, commented: "Every week more than 30 PGA Tour players rely on the unmatched performance of our golf tees.

"They are extremely demanding of their equipment and have come to trust the distance and accuracy benefits the Epoch provides."

Of the 111 top tour event wins for which Evolve claims to have provided the tees, 36 have come on the US PGA Tour.

Tests are said to have found 12-yard gains in distance from the tee as a result of the product's friction-fighting technology.
