SK Fiber's Javelin wins Indoor European Long Drive Championship

MADISON, Ala. -- SK FIber, The #1 long drive shaft on the European Long Drive Tour, was used to capture first place at the Indoor European Long Drive Championship held in Stockholm, Sweden, on March 14. Open Division winner Kari Matti Mikael Hyƶkki played an SK FIber, Javelin shaft and Alpha C830 head against Joe Miller, current European indoor long drive record holder. Each competitor set new European ball speed records in the finals, Joe with 215.6 mph (but unfortunately did not keep his ball on the grid) while Kari, at 213.1mph, was straight and long (385 yards) for the win. This was kari's second win in 2009.
