Single Figure Golfer (SFG) is delighted to announce the final of the SFG Challenge Tour will fittingly be held at the TwentyTen course at Celtic Manor on October 27th - 28th.
The 2009 SFG Challenge Tour sponsored by Srixon Z-Star provides an opportunity for golfers with a handicap of under 10 the chance to qualify for the SFG team, captained by Peter McEvoy (former successful Walker Cup captain), who will compete against former Ryder and Solheim Cup players over two days at the SFG Challenge Tour final.
However to enjoy the best two days of golfing pressure and exhilaration an amateur club golfer will experience they must survive Qualifying school the day before.
Up to eighty Regional qualifiers will arrive but only ten will remain to form McEvoy's Team SFG.
In addition to qualification at one of 35 venues throughout the country you could be fortunate enough to arrive at the Qualifying School via the ballot running in conjunction with the county secretaries.

McEvoy co- founder of Single Figure Golfer is seeking revenge over the pros who narrowly defeated Team SFG last year. Welcoming the addition of the qualifying School, he said: "This year will identify players who can handle the pressure and that is what golf at this level is all about"
