PGA Learning Center named a top facility in Golf Range Magazine

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- The PGA Learning Center, in Port St. Lucie, Fla., was named by Golf Range Magazine to its "Top 100 Golf Practice Facilities in America" list for the tenth consecutive year. The facility has received the award, which honors the top golf practice and learning centers, every year since the PGA Learning Center's debut in 2000.

"The PGA Learning Center is extremely proud to have earned this tremendous honor from Golf Range Magazine, which marks a significant milestone of 10 straight years as one of the 'Top 100 Golf Practice Facilities in America,'" said Bob Baldassari, PGA general manager, PGA Village. "This honor is a tribute to our staff and the PGA Learning Center's state-of-the-art golf practice park, which features instruction from top PGA Professionals, premier golf technology and fitness, and utilizes a practice layout that is emulated by facilities in the United States and overseas."

Owned and operated by The PGA of America, the PGA Learning Center is a 35-acre prototype golf instruction and practice facility that is open to the public year-round. The award, presented by Golf Range Magazine and the Golf Range Association of America, joins other top honors garnered by the PGA Learning Center, as part of the Ultimate Golf Experience at PGA Village -- which also features the PGA Golf Club's 54 holes of Championship golf by Tom Fazio and Pete Dye; and the PGA Historical Center, which is the proud new home of the Ryder Cup Trophy. PGA Village's list of accolades includes recognition as one of the "75 Best Golf Resorts in North America" by Golf Digest, the PGA Golf Club ranked No. 30 among the "Top 50 Public Golf Courses in the United States" by Golf World, and the PGA Learning Center named as the "Top Practice Facility" in Florida by Golf Odyssey.

"The PGA Learning Center is proud of the tradition we have set for the highest standards in golf practice, instruction, technology and fitness," said Eric Hogge, PGA head professional, PGA Learning Center. "We invite golfers of all abilities to come experience the PGA Learning Center, which features nine separate bunkers that simulate play worldwide, more than 100 hitting stations, short-game practice areas, putting greens, our PGA of America Golf Schools, the new PGA Center for Fitness and Performance, and the latest in golf instruction and innovation. The PGA Learning Center is an incredibly unique experience that has something for every golfer to love."

Note: The PGA Learning Center will play host to the PING Demo Day on Sat., Feb. 28, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Golf enthusiasts can demo the latest equipment from the manufacturer, with free admission to the event. For more information, please call 800-800-GOLF (4653) or visit PGAVillage.com/stlucie.
