Mizuno Golf has launched its MX-700 range of products for 2009.
Among the clubs on offer is the MX-700 driver, which is said to be "the most forgiving" driver that the manufacturer has ever produced.
A Hot Metal Ti-9 titanium face is coupled with a low and deep centre of gravity (COG) area to gain distance even from off-centre shots, making this driver a good buy for players of intermediate ability and lower.
"This breakthrough face technology combined with an optimized launch angle, spin rate, COR area, and Moment of Inertia make the MX-700 the longest and most forgiving driver you're going to find," commented Mizuno USA Golf vice-president and general manager, Dick Lyons.
Meanwhile, the MX-700 fairway woods also employ Hot Metal technology and allow for easier launch and preferred trajectory, featuring a Mizuno Exsar FS4 shaft which is intended for such clubs.
Then there is the MX-700 hybrids, which are characterised by a Drop Down Crown design, allowing the club to be adjusted for loft and lie requirements.
