Tehama announces introduction of natural merino wool skorts

DENVER -- Tehama, the line of high-end contemporary sportswear for men and women that was co-founded by Clint Eastwood and Nancy Haley, has announced its expansion of green to include one of the most natural fabrics from the earth - Merino Wool.

Being green is easy for the company, whose name is translated from the Native American meaning "Abundance of Nature." The Fall 2009 collection brings an expansion of these eco-collections with a new Merino Wool Skort.

"Tropical weight Merino is lightweight, soft and regulates your body temperature," says Anne Ingham, VP of Design for Tehama. She says that during the PGA Show, buyers and consumers were impressed by how super soft this garment is. "We like to say that it is the best naturally occurring fiber on planet earth," she adds.

Merino possesses natural wicking qualities that help regulate your body temperature, a super soft anti-wrinkle hand, is naturally anti-microbial, and is machine washable (easy care).

The 19" Merino Skort features an embroidered serenity motif on the back, and will be available for $72. It is available in the color 'Soot' and features a small tee pocket and an innovative overlock stitching.
