POMPANO BEACH, Fla. -- South Florida-based Seitz, Inc. Advertising and Promotion has been named the agency of record for Jim McLean Golf Schools and has also been retained to promote professional golfer Erik Compton as a spokesperson for the Transplant Foundation of Miami.
The national brand and public awareness program for Jim McLean Golf Schools includes promotion of newly released instructional DVDs and books, including the 8-DVD set Building Block Approach and the third edition release of McLean's top selling The Eight-Step Swing book.
Compton, who received his first heart transplant at the age of 12 as a result of heart disease and a second heart just nine months ago after suffering a near-fatal heart attack, has won international support and media exposure in his heroic attempt to win a PGA TOUR card late last year and his subsequent special sponsor invitations to play in tour tournaments, including the upcoming Honda Classic.
Compton has agreed to act as a spokesperson for the Transplant Foundation of Miami to promote a specialty Florida auto license plate, "Donate Organs. Pass it On."
He joins former NBA Star Alonzo Mourning (a kidney transplant recipient) in championing this cause. Seitz, Inc. is the agency of record developing promotional campaigns in support of the sale of the license plate.
In South Florida since 1990, Seitz, Inc. (www.seitzinc.net) represents clients in the marine, aviation, recreational outdoor, sports, skin care, residential and commercial real estate, professional services and government sectors.
