Greg Norman Collection introduces new Fall '09 menswear line

NEW YORK -- Greg Norman Collection, a leader in golf-inspired sportswear, introduces the new Fall 2009 menswear line with one extensive color palette and an emphasis on patterns in fashion pieces.

"Staying true to the combination of performance, luxury and style, there is a new found sense of style with our sportswear approach to color and the advancement of our fashion groups," says Michael J Setola, President and CEO. "I am proud of what our team has accomplished over the past year, my first year with the company, and I anticipate the same reaction from buyers at the PGA Show."

The company's entire menswear assortment, which consists of the high-tech Play Dry Performance and cotton-based Essentials groups, plus three fashion deliveries, now share one master color story. This concept offers buyers the option to cross-merchandise
through all deliveries and over all product categories, while innovative pattern work will distinguish the brand's three fashion deliveries (Paradise Tour, Challenge Cup and Match Play). Cutting edge techniques like embossing and other design elements such as diamond body mapping, large-scale wrapper plaids plus intricate jacquards have been applied.

"We are bringing new opportunities to buyers, and we continue to provide a vast portfolio of performance products," says Jeremy Brandrick, Senior Design Director.

Temperature Control Technology returns for a second season and is now available in both solid and stripe Men's polos. Reacting to either cool or warm the body, the technology maintains the body's temperature at 98.6 degrees for a cutting-edge regulation system. TCT is an expansion of the brand's ML50 technology, and both 100% microfiber polyester polos are designed with a unique and proprietary cross-section high-gauged knitting process, which offers inherent performance benefits such as a luxury-infused weightlessness and premium UPF. Additionally, consumers will benefit from easy-care characteristics. ML50 is available in solid and fine stripe Men's polos, a solid Men's long sleeve polo and a Women's color block long sleeve zip-mock.

The entire Fall 2009 assortment from Greg Norman Collection will be on display at the 2009 PGA Merchandise Show (Booth 6363).

In other news, Greg Norman Collection named Jim Guerra the 2008 Golf Salesperson of the Year. Guerra's territory includes Northern New Jersey; Long Island, New York and New York City.
