FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- The SeeMore Putter Company introduces its beautiful
new 100% made in the USA SeeMore FGP Stainless series, enhancing the design and construction of the putter that won two major championships with the FGP Stainless blade and featuring the first mallet under the FGP name, the FGP2 Stainless mallet. The FGP and FGP2 Stainless putters feature SeeMore's proprietary RifleScope Technology (RST) alignment system.
The new FGP Stainless series features the improved material of 303 stainless steel casting which then undergoes a four- part milling process for precision and beauty. The putters in the series feature a rich, durable proprietary metal fusion coating in black satin or nickel satin finish. All putters in the new series also offer an offset version with the proprietary SeeMore whistle (w) shaft, the first time offset
has ever been offered by SeeMore in an FGP style putter.
"The new FGP Stainless series is an enhancement to the design, construction and materials of the original FGP that features our proven and proprietary RST alignment system," says Jim Grundberg, Co-Owner and Managing Director of SeeMore Putter Company. "It adopts the look and feel of the putter that won two major championships.
"We are really excited about the introduction of the new mid-size FGP2 mallet, which we expect to appeal to golfers who love their FGP blade and want the similar feel and balance in a mallet," says Grundberg. "We also anticipate that many new golfers will be excited to benefit from the SeeMore RST milled technology in a mallet selling for under $200. The FGP2 mallet will appeal to all these SeeMore fans because it delivers enhanced feedback, a consistent roll and tremendous balance during the putting stroke."
The eight new putters in the FGP and FGP2 Stainless series include:
• FGP Stainless in a straight near center shaft, black satin and nickel satin finish.
• FGPw Stainless offset near center shaft, black satin and nickel satin finish.
• FGP2 Stainless mallet with straight near center shaft, black satin and nickel satin finish.
• FGP2w Stainless offset near center shaft, black satin and nickel satin finish.
The whistle (w) shaft maintains the alignment and performance integrity of the SeeMore putting system for golfers wishing to have their hands forward at address and still realize the benefits of SeeMore's patented RifleScope Technology (RST) alignment system.
The new SeeMore FGP and FGP2 Stainless putters will be available for $185 in February 2009. The series comes with the proprietary SeeMore 2 tone chrome and black shaft and the proprietary black SeeMore Feeltec grip. Like all SeeMore putters, the new FGP Stainless putters may be custom fit and custom built in any length, lie, grip, or head style and shipped in 48 hours from SeeMore's headquarters in Franklin, TN. SeeMore putters are available for purchase from fine golf shops and direct from SeeMore.
Deadly Precise Putters and Putting System
All SeeMore putters feature its RST, known by a visible gun sight on the top line, allows the golfer to set up the putter perfectly each and every time in relation to the intended target line.
This is accomplished by lining up the black bottom portion of the shaft between two white lines and covering a signature red dot on the heel of the top line. The process is like locking radar onto a target. The two parallel white sight lines frame the shaft and serve as an indicator that the golfer is in perfect position to make a consistent and reliable stroke. The RST helps golfers favoring every type of putting stroke improve their performance on the greens.
"We consistently hear from golfers of all skill levels that they have improved their putting performance by using our deadly precise putters. Most importantly, they like that SeeMore putters provide a continuous feedback system to monitor the progress of their putting performance," says Grundberg.
SeeMore putters with RST have an extra benefit of perfectly promoting and enhancing the popular pendulum-style (inside to square to inside) putting stroke favored by many of the best players in the world. In this stroke, the golfer sets his hands and the putter head directly below his eyes at set up and turns his shoulders, holding a triangle through the stroke.
"SeeMore putters also provide valuable feedback during practice sessions that enables a golfer to establish his own system for continuous improvement. This is accomplished when the golfer steps away from a putt and takes a practice stroke," says Grundberg. "In a perfect pendulum stroke, the red dot will be covered at all times and the shaft will be lined up between the two white lines."
SeeMore Breakthrough Accomplishments
SeeMore originally became recognized when Payne Stewart won the 1999 U.S. Open playing a SeeMore putter. Stewart one-putted the last three holes to win the championship by one stroke. He sunk what's considered to be the longest putt in Open history on the 18th hole to win the tournament. Stewart also won the overall putting title for fewest putts per round over the entire 1999 season.
The brand was re-launched in 2007, and immediately regained worldwide prominence as Zach Johnson used a SeeMore FGP to win the 2007 Masters. Johnson also set the all-time putting average record on the Nationwide Tour for the entire season in 2003 (1.699 putts per GIR).
