LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. -- Trigelle, designer of the fashion forward and versatile women's golfwear, announced plans to unveil their Fall / Resort 2009 Collection at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida.
Trigelle's exciting new collection focuses on four key groups: Stripe a Pose, Winter Floral, Animal Instinct, and Burst of Bloom. As always with Trigelle's collections, trends from the mainstream contemporary market are meshed with golf functionality. Brightly colored prints displayed in missoni inspired stripes, super enlarged floral blooms, and cheetah prints, define the collection. Fancy yarn dyed stripes and lurex plaids give life to the bottoms. And details such as ruching, pintucks, box pleats, piping, wide cuffs and colorblocking are a staple throughout.
"I wanted to push the envelope this season", says founder and designer Lulu Faddis. "In light of the economy's state, basics just doesn't cut it anymore. You need to entice your customer, give them a reason to buy, and novel pieces are the way to do it".
Show stopper items include dresses (JANICE & LARA) that simulates a polo tucked into a skirt and finished off with a belt. A 2-fer cable sweater (ELISE) with removable cheetah printed collar and cuffs is another style that allows for a convertible look, alongside a cheetah printed vest (MAGGIE) and cardigan (GLORIA). In addition, a bermuda short made of non-itchy, stretch lurex plaid (MYRENE) will make you look like you are wearing jewels when you're out playing your round.
Remaining ecologically responsible, Trigelle continues to offer uniquely designed sweaters constructed in bamboo cotton yarn. "We have offered bamboo sweaters since we launched our brand in 2004 and are known for it's soft, cashmere-like hand and easy care. In this environment of sustainability, we strive to be the eco-luxury source for sweaters", adds Faddis.
Trigelle will be located in the apparel section, booth #8975, across the aisle from the New Products Area and Fashion Gallery.
