Eagle One introduces new eco-friendly Greenwood DLX material

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Be kind to the environment by using products made from eco-friendly material. Eagle One, the leader in recycled plastic lumber, "Greenwood", products in the golf course and country club industry, announced today it has added Greenwood DLX to its family of recycled plastic lumber.

Greenwood DLX is a very low maintenance, high recycled content wood-like material. Made of 100% post consumer/post industrial materials Greenwood DLX offers the exotic look of tropical hardwood without the maintenance nightmares. Greenwood DLX can be incorporated into most Eagle One product designs

"A commitment to eco-friendly practices is based on understanding and awareness of serious threats to the environment and potential consequences to our future generations," said Philip Thompson, President, Eagle One. "For over 16 years we have designed and manufactured products from the environmentally friendly 100% Greenwood recycled plastic lumber and we're happy to give our customers more options with the new Greenwood DLX material,"

The company's Greenwood Recycled Plastic Lumber is made from 100% recycled High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and it outperforms most other materials in areas subject to harsh weather conditions. The high-density plastic, recycled from milk bottles, does not suffer from the problems associated with wood, metal and other materials. It is impervious to most chemicals, does not rot, rust, corrode or ever need painting. The color is consistent throughout the lumber, making it resistant to color fading.

The environmentally friendly line of Eagle One products includes a wide selection of clubhouse furnishings and tee accessories made from Greenwood and Greenwood DLX. All of Eagle One's products can be customized by its in house manufacturing department.
