LITTLE RIVER, S.C. -- Glen Dornoch Waterway Golf Links, located in Little River, S.C., was featured on the December 2 episode of The Golf Channel's reality series, Road Trip: Myrtle Beach.
Glen Dornoch is the flag ship golf course for the Glens Golf Group and is located on the northern end of the Grand Strand. It was designed by Clyde Johnston and offers golfers a traditional round of golf as each hole flows with the natural terrain of lakes, live oaks and spectacular march and river views. The club house at Glen Dornoch features a tranquil view of the unique double green of holes 9 and 18, plus a magnificent view of the Intracoastal Waterway.
Road Trip's on-air personalities played several holes at Glen Dornoch against a picturesque backdrop that included the Intracoastal Waterway and fishing boats.
"We are very excited that The Golf Channel chose to include the North End of the Grand Strand and Glen Dornoch," said Jason Himmelsbach, director of marketing for The Glens Golf Group. "By showcasing top-notch golf courses on the North End, The Golf Channel gives viewers a look at one of the many different golf experiences available along the Grand Strand. Viewers have definitely gotten to see why Myrtle Beach has been nicknamed the 'Golf Capital of the World.' And, after seeing our golf course, they'll get a better understanding of why Golf Magazine recently named us one of the best courses in South Carolina.
