KOHLER, Wis. -- The PGA of America announced that corporate hospitality packages are now available for the 92nd PGA Championship, which will be contested Aug. 9-15, 2010, at Whistling Straits, site of the 86th PGA Championship in 2004.
First-class hospitality packages are available in the form of private "Chalets" in the Corporate Village and individual "Tables" in the Champions Club, as well as a select number of on-course "Platinum Chalet" offerings, the first of its kind at Whistling Straits. In addition, all corporate hospitality patrons will have the opportunity to purchase access to three on-course viewing suites, located directly on top of the action at holes 6, 8, and 16.
All packages provide climate-controlled entertaining areas with premium interior decor that creates an environment where companies can entertain their guests at a major championship. The Platinum Chalets will be located adjacent to the ninth fairway, while the all other chalets and the Champions Club will be located in the PGA Championship Village.
Hospitality Packages are available in a variety of pricing structures to accommodate an array of company sizes. Chalet and Table location will be determined based on the order of purchase. Packages will include food & beverage, furnishings, televisions, access to a business center and the opportunity to partner with the resort offerings of Destination Kohler in 2009 and 2010, leading up to the PGA Championship.
"We've solicited input from our clients in 2004, and came up with some new offerings and amenities as a result," said 92nd PGA Championship General Chairman Scott Anderson. "For the first time at Whistling Straits, we will offer our corporate clients on-course viewing in the form of viewing suites at three locations throughout the course. These are state-of-the-art and were utilized with great success at this year's Ryder Cup. In addition, we are offering a limited number of on course chalets, which will allow guests to view the golf course from the comforts of their village."
