GOLF CHANNEL to air first three Rounds of ADT Championship, Sorenstam's final LPGA event

ORLANDO, Fla. -- GOLF CHANNEL will deliver live coverage of the first three rounds of the ADT Championship, Thursday - Saturday beginning at 2 p.m. ET, featuring the largest single payout in women's golf - $1 million. The LPGA Tour's season-ending event also will be Annika Sorenstam's final LPGA tournament before retirement from competitive golf.

Brian Hammons and 17-time LPGA winner Dottie Pepper will serve as host and lead analyst for GOLF CHANNEL's coverage. Joining the duo at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach will be NBC Sports' Gary Koch reporting from the Tower position, and Kay Cockerill and Jane Crafter on the course. Mike Ritz will handle post-round interviews and report throughout the week for Golf Central. GOLF CHANNEL also will re-air the first three rounds in prime time, Thursday - Saturday at 6:30 p.m. ET. NBC Sports will televise Sunday's final round beginning at 3 p.m. ET.

GolfChannel.com also is highlighting Sorenstam's career on and off the course this week with a three-part feature, a timeline of her accomplishments, a photo gallery and an interactive trivia contest. GolfChannel.com insider Brian Hewitt recently sat down with Sorenstam, where she reflects on her appearance at Colonial on the PGA TOUR in "What Colonial 2003 Really Meant." Editorial director Jay Coffin writes about Sorenstam's domination through the years, and how she didn't always need her best to win in "The Best Even Without her Best," and managing editor Mercer Baggs sat down with Sorenstam and her fiancée, Mike McGee, to discuss her future away from competitive golf in "Time Finally on Her Side."

Cable television's undisputed leader in live tournament coverage, GOLF CHANNEL will continue to air a minimum of 10 official LPGA events each year through 2009 and will air complete, shot-by-shot coverage of the 2009 Solheim Cup.

ADT Championship:

Thursday - Saturday 2-4 p.m. ET (Live)
Thursday - Saturday 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. ET (Replay)
