POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Pound Ridge Golf Club is offering two new golf passes for the upcoming 2009 season: The Individual Golf Pass and the Open Golf Pass. "These passes will reward purchasers with two free rounds of golf inclusive of a cart, and it also serves as a debit card for clubhouse food and beverage orders, as well as pro shop merchandise," said general manager Todd Leavenworth. "The Pound Ridge Golf Club passes are a perfect holiday gift for the avid golfer," he added.
The Individual Golf Pass is a prepaid $5,000, non-refundable pass that allows golfers to book tee times by calling the pro shop instead of going online. The Open Golf Pass costs $10,000, also is non-refundable and may be used by up to three pre-designated individuals to pay for green fees, food or clubhouse items.
"This pass option is perfect for families who intend to make Pound Ridge their home course," said Leavenworth. "Pound Ridge Golf Club also has been approached by many New York and Connecticut corporations looking to use the club to entertain clients and employees. These companies see golf on an acclaimed Pete Dye course as a means to increase their business." Two free rounds of golf are included with each pass option.
