Golf World spent nearly six months gathering data on golf establishments throughout the country, evaluating them across multiple criteria to identify the nation's premier facilities. When all was said and done, Golf World received more than 21,000 individual golf course ratings and more than 252,000 criteria evaluations. The criteria evaluated ranged from quality of course to golf practice facilities. Chechessee Creek Club ranked 4th in caddie program, 2nd in service, 2nd in pace of play, and 3rd in overall value.
