Path Pro instructional tool aids in correcting golf swing positions

CHICAGO (April 29, 2006) -- Renowned Top 20 Golf Instructor and CBS Sports Golf Analyst Peter Kostis, and Champions Tour winner, author and fellow CBS Sports Golf Analyst Gary McCord, join Path Pro Golf’s founder and developer Jim Cardosi to introduce a new tool that’s quickly taking the PGA, LPGA and nearly every golf academy in the US by storm.

Called the Path Pro, it’s designed to provide an unlimited number of positions and uses, thereby eliminating the need for every other teaching and training aid. By providing nearly 35 swing fixes while focusing on the key fundamentals, it’s a tool that’s equally effective for beginners all the way to touring professionals and one that’s destined to be around a long time. By combining sensory perception, muscle memory and motor learning skills, all at once, users easily reinforce the proper movements and engrain them much quicker. Players instantly see and feel the correct positions, throughout their swing, while physically hitting shots with their own clubs, resulting in immediate and more permanent improvement. Peter Kostis says,

“Most people don’t know what the correct swing positions feel like. The Path Pro is the most advanced teaching tool in 20 years because users immediately see AND feel what’s right and what’s wrong in their swing.” Gary McCord adds, “It’s simple and it takes the guesswork out of your swing because you’re forced to swing the club properly every time.”

Already used by nearly 70 of Golf Digest’s and Golf Magazine's Top 100 Teachers, the Path Pro is finding its way into teacher’s and student’s hands all over the country. It allows for golfers at every skill level to effectively work on their game between lessons, or on their own, with the confidence of knowing that what they are doing on is productive and correct.

Company founder Jim Cardosi says, “We’re excited because we feel like the Path Pro rises above the typical gimmicks and gadgets you normally see marketed to golfers. Fundamentals don’t change so with the Path Pro we know we have an equally effective tool today as well as 10 years from now. And, because it addresses literally every swing fault, it’s equally beneficial for everyone who plays the game regardless of their problem.”

Path Pro Golf is going a step further by initiating discussions with representatives from the PGA Tour and the 1st Tee Organization to put together a program that will benefit nearly every 1st Tee Chapter in the US by providing Path Pros for use by their kids, “I don’t endorse training aids but when I saw the Path Pro and experienced it’s effectiveness by quickly forcing students to properly learn the fundamentals, I had to get involved,” says Jim David, Director of the 1st Tee Chapter in Aurora, IL.

Kostis and McCord teamed up with Path Pro Golf to launch their infomercial in October. Seen primarily on The Golf Channel, they have launched an aggressive schedule for the ’06 season. In addition, golf retailers, specialty stores and pro shops, nationwide, have quickly recognized the potential and moved to stock the product.

(Why Path Pro works) The secret is not just in the fact that the Path Pro's adjustability delivers an unlimited number of positions and uses which is unparalleled in the industry. Rather, it's how it effectively combines the 5 basic fundamentals and forces you to correctly engrain them together, with every swing, rather than just one at a time. This is why the results are so immediate and much more permanent. That's what leads to longer, straighter, more consistent shots, and lower scores.
