TNT and PGA.COM tee off the 2008 PGA Grand Slam of Golf on Tues., October 14 as four of the world's best professional golfers hit the greens at Mid Ocean Club in Bermuda to determine who's the best of the best in the 36-hole event. To compete in this elite tournament golfers must be a major championship winner and this year's field features 2008 Masters Champion Trevor Immelman, 2008 British Open and PGA Championship winner Padraig Harrington, two-time U.S. Open Champion Retief Goosen (2001 and 2004) and 2003 U.S. Open Champion and member of the winning U.S. Ryder Cup team Jim Furyk. TNT's coverage is presented by OppenheimerFunds, Lexus, Orbitz and RBS, The Royal Bank of Scotland Group and will air on Tues., October 14 from 4 - 7 p.m. ET/PT and Wed., October 15 from 5 - 9 p.m. ET/PT, with exclusive early round coverage on both days of the tournament on PGA.COM.

PGA.COM, the official site of The PGA of America, will offer comprehensive online coverage of the event including live coverage of the first several holes of the day beginning at 10 a.m. ET on both days. A re-air of the coverage will be available one-hour prior to TNT coverage. PGA.COM will also feature exclusive Grand Slam content including live scoring, photo galleries, daily on-demand highlights and video flyovers. In addition, PGA.COM will offer Bermuda Shorts, a daily feature offering quick, fun nuggets of information on both the tournament and the atmosphere surrounding the event to give fans an insider's look at the Grand Slam from both inside and outside the ropes.
TNT's event coverage will feature veteran golf announcers in the booth, including 1991 British Open winner Ian Baker-Finch (analyst), Verne Lundquist (play-by-play), Billy Kratzert (course reporter) and Jim Huber (course reporter) who will provide on-air analysis and commentary. Additionally, PGA professional Michael Breed will provide golf instruction and tips throughout the two days of the tournament. The network's coverage will also include the "Tee'd Up" segment which will feature audio from each of the four players who will be wearing microphones throughout the course of play.
The picturesque Mid Ocean Club in Bermuda will serve as the home of the 2008 PGA Grand Slam of Golf, marking the second consecutive year the event will take place on the island. Originally built in 1921, the 36-hole beachside course boasts a signature fifth hole that includes a lake which, according to the course records, swallowed up more than 14 errant balls hit by baseball great Babe Ruth during a tournament in 1937.
TNT's stable of 2008 golf programming also included the British Open Championship, Senior British Open, Women's British Open and the PGA Championship.
