JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will march into the second season with tournaments throughout Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. The first year turned out to be a great success for the tour and 2009 is shaping up to be an even better year.
The tour has lined up some of the best courses and resorts that the southeast has to offer. The tour will return to places like Ponte Vedra Golf and CC, Jekyll Island, and Woodmont CC in the first half of the year and has also added some great new venues like Sugarloaf Mountain, Tradition National, Haile Plantation, Coosaw Creek, Sea Palms Resort, and Wild Dunes Resort.
The tour will continue to offer an affordable program which includes no membership fees and a sibling rate for families with two or more junior golfers. The 2009 season will also feature a unique and affordable entry fee structure. All events including majors will be priced at $175.
The first half of the 2009 schedule has been released under the "tournament schedule" page and will kick off in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida January 10-11.Stay tuned as more dates and courses will be added as soon as they become available.
