LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA) has announced the extension of its Golf Industry Show (GIS) Participating Partner agreement through the year 2014. GCBAA is one of several non-profit organizations working together to present and support one of the largest trade shows in the industry.
"This extension demonstrates our organization's continued commitment to the industry and its desire to provide its members with educational, networking and business opportunities," GCBAA Executive Director Paul Foley said. "We appreciate all the support and consideration we receive from all the participating organizations."
The Golf Industry Show is presented by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) and Club Manager Association of America (CMAA), along with its Participating Partners, GCBAA, American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) and the National Golf Foundation (NGF).
The Golf Industry Show is an innovative trade show designed for the owners/operators of golf facilities, and the professional members of the golf course and club management industries. Featuring its signature interactive solution centers, the event combines education, networking and solutions for golf course superintendents, owners/operators, general managers, chief operating officers, architects and builders to form one of the largest trade shows in North America.
Over 25,000 people attended last year's GIS, with almost 1,000 exhibitors. The 2009 GIS is being held in New Orleans, La. February 5-7.
