Rounds played volume in the U.S. was up 0.5 percent in July 2008 vs. July 2007, according to the new National Rounds Played Report, a joint effort of Golf Datatech, NGF, PGA of America and NGCOA. The year-to-date figure is down 1.5 percent.
Regions posting the biggest gains in July were the Pacific (up 5.4 percent) and South Central (up 5.5 percent).
