AccuFLEX sweeps ReMax World Long Drive Championships

Gastonia, NC, – Oct. 27, 2004 – AccuFLEX Golf shafts continued their dominance of the ReMax World Long Drive Championships with a sweep of last weekend's 2004 ReMax World Championship Finals, which were held in Mesquite, Nevada Saturday night.

AccuFLEX Golf developed its revolutionary A2 technology in an effort to revolutionize long drive shafts and to fulfill its motto, "A Golf Shaft To Fit Every Swing". Beginning with earning the 2002 men's ReMax World Title, AccuFLEX has dominated every division of professional long drive. Whether it be the Long Drivers of America (LDA) pro Tour, the LDA Tour Championship or the granddaddy of all long drive events, the ReMax Championships, AccuFLEX has conquered every division and earned an unmatched 15 "major" pro long drive titles in two years. The AccuFLEX PRO LD, PRO LD World Champion, Extreme LD and Assassin series shafts have won more LDA Tour events than any shafts in the history of the sport and their dominance continued Saturday night with a "sweep" of all three divisions of the world long drive championships.

"We at AccuFLEX would like to congratulate all the winners at the 2004 ReMax World Long Drive Championship," AccuFLEX long drive team coordinator Tom Richards observed. "What a thrill for our company to sweep the ReMax finals in each division. We are very proud of this achievement and we are grateful to all the long drivers that have used or tried our products over these past three seasons.

"Your feedback keeps us on our toes and in large part because we have listened to you, we have been able to develop what has clearly come to be known as the greatest long drive shafts ever produced. It's especially gratifying that our shafts keep piling up victories in all divisions, not just one. Congratulations and thanks again to the three outstanding champions that earned their victories with AccuFLEX Golf shafts."

AccuFLEX Golf's international design team uses the finest materials available along with the company's unique, proprietary filament winding process to make its premium line of advanced design composite Golf Shafts. In August of 2004, AccuFLEX Golf introduced its "Evolution" shaft featuring the company's revolutionary "Nano Composite Technology", the first ever widely available shaft utilizing a nanotech manufacturing process. AccuFLEX Golf shafts won the 2003 and 2004 Senior British Opens and the 2003 JELD-WEN Tradition Champions Tour major championships and were in the bag of Chris Couch, the winner of the 2003 PGA Nationwide Tour Championship.
