Caddy for a Cure charity secures four of world's top six players

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- Caddy For A Cure, Inc. continues its golfer's fantasy program for the 2006 season by securing participation commitments from four of the world's top six players. TOUR participants Retief Goosen (#3 in world rankings) has agreed to participate for the Zurich Classic in New Orleans; Ernie Els (#4 in world rankings) for the Byron Nelson in Dallas; and Sergio Garcia (#6 in world rankings) will participate for the Barclay's Classic in Westchester. Vijay Singh (#2 in the world rankings) has also agreed to participate in this year's schedule with the specific tournament to be determined.

The player line-up is strong throughout the entire 2006 tournament season and includes superstars sure to appeal to all golfers and golf enthusiasts," says Russ Holden, Caddy For A Cure CEO and veteran Tour caddie. "We've gotten commitments from the world's most renowned and popular players, including Davis Love III, Stuart Appleby, Alex Cejka, Fred Funk, Bernhard Langer, Tom Lehman, Justin Leonard, David Toms and more." He further comments, "Right now it looks like we could have as many as 50 of the top players participating in our program this year."

Caddy For A Cure has grown ten-fold in awareness and popularity since last season," notes program consultant Richard Oates. Further adding, "The success achieved during 2005 by TOUR participants and the golfing public has laid the groundwork for what should be an extremely exciting and rewarding season for everyone involved."

The way the Caddy For A Cure program works is golf enthusiasts are able to bid via an eBay auction for the opportunity to caddie for a TOUR player during an official practice round of a PGA TOUR sanctioned tournament. As Holden adds, "Winning bidders have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be inside the ropes with the world's best TOUR players in a relatively relaxed professional PGA TOUR setting. They get to see their player's thought processes, practice routines and incredible shot-making skills up close and personal without the distraction of other players or stress over their own golf skills."

In addition to providing a unique opportunity for program participants, Caddy For A Cure, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that donates 100% of its proceeds to charity. This charitable purpose ties perfectly with the TOUR's theme of "Giving Back" from one of the world's most loved games. Benefiting charities include the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund (www.fanconi.org), the PGA TOUR Caddie Benevolent Fund (www.pgatour.com/tournaments/info/benevolent), the PGA Tour host site charity and the TOUR player's charity of choice.
